Providence Dupois, debout dès l'aube, flair de reine, six orteils au pied droit, factrice de profession et mère par instinct. Coincée en aérogare par la nuageuse colère d'un volcan islandais, Providence ne peut aller quérir-guérir au Maroc l'enfant malade qu'elle a adoptée: Zahera, fillette aux poumons embrumés (toujours des nuages) par la mucoviscidose. Elle tempête, trépigne et songe à l'enfant qu'elle a découverte, petite boule de charmants prodiges, lors d'une hospitalisation au Maroc. Quand soudain les dieux suscitent un génie: le maître 90, dit aussi Hué, pour qui vole qui veut, suffit d'ouvrir les bras, l'envol se prend comme un élan: hop! Et Providence de voler, cap Maroc! Mais si, en définitive, tout cela n'était que chimère à réacteurs, un conte odoriférant, une rêverie en altitude? Qui sait?
